Valiant effort earns student praise

RESPLENDENT in a black and gold knight’s armour and armed with a menacing broadsword over a metre long and kite shield, ‘Darrion’ from the mobile game Valiant Force wooed visitors to Penang Anime Matsuri 2017 - Summer Wonderland.

Many fans of the game sought photo opportunities with the popular game character, which was exactly the aim of diploma student Lee Woei Chieh, who spent a month making the costume.
