Anxious about blocked river in Balakong

The RM5mil project will see remedial work carried out along the 3.5km length of the Sungai Balak.

IN 1990, Balakong New Village residents heaved sighs of relief after the demolition of a large rock that had impeded the flow of Sungai Balak solved their flood woes.

Now, 16 years later, the river is once again a source of anxiety during the rainy season.
