Jais: Future burial ground not misused

Jais estimates it will be at least 20 years before the gazetted land is needed as a burial ground.

A PLOT of land in Putra Perdana, Puchong, has been given the go-ahead by its owner Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) to be used as a landfill for construction waste before eventually being used for its gazetted purpose as a Muslim burial ground.

Jais administrative assistant officer Mohd Hafiz Ahmad confirmed that the land belonging to the department was used as a landfill for construction debris.
