MELAKA: The state Health Department has issued a total of 30 compounds for various offences during “Ops Ramadan” which started on the first day of the holy month.

State Health director Datuk Dr Ghazali Othman said the compounds were issued for various offences against traders at Ramadan bazaars, such as those who failed to comply with the Food Act 1983 and selling prohibited items under Food Regulations 1985 as well as Food Hygiene Regulations 2009.
