Underprivileged staff and students benefit from zakat fund

UNIVERSITI Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) is putting its zakat fund collection to meaningful use as they gave out a significant amount to underprivileged staff and students.

During their Iftar Perdana event, the university, through its Tabung Amanah Zakat Uniten (Tazu), presented RM1,002,795 to 1,115 recipients in five categories.
