THE sale of plastic bags in Selangor has dropped by between 30% and 50% since the state government banned its use this year.
Selangor Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Elizabeth Wong said data until April showed that in comparison to January, there were less plastic bags sold in subsequent months.
