WITH the start of Ramadan, a month where Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, clerics are reminding believers that it is a month for introspection, controlling their appetites, moderation when breaking fast, and piety.

Perak Islamic Affairs Department (JAIPk) director Datuk Mohd Yusop Husin advised Muslims to practice moderation in all things during Ramadan especially when it came to food.
