Early festive cheer for needy students from 17 schools

WITH the start of Ramadan, 40 poor students from the Kuala Nerang state constituecy in Kedah were given new clothes for Hari Raya.

The students, from 17 primary and secondary schools in the constituency that is located more than 30km from Alor Setar, were taken on a shopping trip to the Jakel Alor Setar garment shop.
