Celebrating two decades of dance

Mickey McLean makes his Sweatbox debut as he celebrates 20 years of serving up house music in Malaysia.

SCOTSMAN Mickey McLean has been something of a fixture in the Malaysian dance music spectrum since its infancy in the mid- to late-1990s, having lived here for pretty much the last two decades or so.

From his Malaysian DJ beginnings in Arena, Sunway, in 1997, to being part of the original DJ line-up at the legendary Backroom KL in 1999, right through to his current regular appearances at the likes of Locker & Loft, his Malaysian love affair continues.
