SIBU: The lack of air connectivity and high airfare have hampered tourism industry here, Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) was told.
At the council meeting, several councillors who were gravely concerned over the matter had raised the issue, urging SMC to seek the state government’s help to allow more budget airlines to fly to Kota Kinabalu.
