TRAFFIC MATTERS

• Part of Jalan PJS 9/1 in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, will be closed tomorrow from 5.30am to 9.30am, for Sunway Property’s Race for A Better Planet 2017. The affected stretch is from the intersection of Persiaran Tasik Timur and Jalan PJS 9/1 until the intersection of Jalan Lagoon Selatan and Jalan PJS 9/1. • There will be a one-lane road closure and realignment works along Jalan Kuala Selangor (both bounds) from FHM Equipment to the Sri Damansara exit until Feb 19 next year. Three lanes will remain open during the closure. This is to facilitate MRT works. For details, call 03-7494 2222.

MBSA MOBILE COUNTER

The Shah Alam on Wheels mobile counter by Shah Alam City Council will be at the carpark of Tesco Setia Alam, Seksyen U13, Shah Alam, today , from 11am to 5pm. It provides services such as checking and paying assessment rates, settling parking compounds, lodging complaints and buying parking coupons.

FREE SQUASH LESSONS

Inclusive Outdoor Classroom is hosting free squash lessons for 30 children with autism, Down Syndrome and learning disabilities today, from 9.30am-11am, at Astaka Sports Complex, Lorong Utara Kecil, Petaling Jaya. Ten children will be picked to be part of special training sessions with personal coaches to be held twice a month until December. FUNDRAISING FAIR

Staff members of Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) will be running a fundraising food fair for the Autism Cafe Project. It will be held tomorrow from 11am to 3pm at GSC MyTown, Cheras. Customers can purchase coupon booklets worth RM50 each on site, and redeem two free movie passes per booklet. TNG CARD for Cliffordians

A limited edition Touch ‘n Go card has been created to commemorate 120 years of Clifford Secondary School this year. It features visuals of the school and past headmasters. FUNDRAISING CONCERT

The Oriental Music Band of Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya, is having a concert on June 17 at 7.30pm at the school’s Bro Philippe Wu Hall. The concert aims to showcase students’ talents and raise funds to upgrade the musical instruments.
