College students raise RM50,000 for dialysis centre

JOHOR BARU: A group of six students from Sunway College Johor Baru managed to raise RM50,000 during a fundraising dinner in an effort to help the Johor Jaya Lions Dialysis centre.

The organising team, The Elites project manager Ng Yi Kee said the dinner was held to raise funds to help in the operating costs of the dialysis centre as well as to purchase a new haemodialysis machine to treat the patients.
