KUCHING: Sarawak is raising the premium for hill timber from 80sen to RM50 per cubic metre effective July 1.
Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said the premium, which is meant for the Sarawak education fund under Yayasan Sarawak, had not been reviewed for over 30 years.
