Charity art display nets RM113,000 for five schools

SOKA Gakkai Malaysia (Penang branch) raised RM113,000 for five primary schools in Penang during its charity painting exhibition.

Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Penang Branch) vice-chairman Tan Kar Bin said the exhibition titled ‘Rendezvous of Tea and Calligraphy — A Charity Exhibition by Lam Yut Hang and Richard Wong’ received encouraging support and all the paintings were sold during the period between Feb 26 and March 11.
