KUCHING: A pilot project to reduce organic waste at the Third Mile market here may be introduced in other markets with government support.
The project, by local non-governmental organisation Worming Up in collaboration with Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), collects food waste from the market to be turned into fertiliser and organic chicken feed instead of being sent to the landfill.
