A MESSAGE on WhatsApp being circulated about water cuts in Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Langat this Sunday has been verified by Syabas as false.
The messages incorrectly states that the water cuts are scheduled to take place on Apr 30.
However, the disseminated information has no basis and is inaccurate. It has not been determined if the message was the result of somebody mistakenly stumbling upon an announcement made on a water disruption that took place on Apr 30 last year, or someone deciding to play a hoax.
Users are advised to refer to the "mySYABAS" app or visit www.syabas.com.my for factual information and updates on disruption of water supply.
