KUCHING: Perfect Livin, touted as the nation’s top home and lifestyle exhibition, is back in Kuching with exciting deals for visitors.

Some 50,000 people are expected to visit the four-day event which opened its doors yesterday at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.

I.Star Ideas Factory Sdn Bhd director Jason Yap said Perfect Livin is the largest exhibition of its kind in Malaysia, providing visitors with a wide range of products and services to meet their home and lifestyle needs.

“We want to ensure visitors get as much out of their experience as possible.

“People who come here have something they need for their home so we try to cover every category, from furniture to home renovation and refurbishment.

“We give them a good choice so that they can compare prices and products under one roof, rather than going from one shop to another.

“Exhibitors will also give good deals and promotions during the exhibition,” he said.

Yap also said Perfect Livin was held twice a year in Kuching to meet the demand from visitors looking to spruce up their homes for festive occasions or the new year.

“For instance, now is the perfect time for Muslims to get ready for Hari Raya, while the exhibition in the second half of the year will cater to those getting ready for the year end and new year.”

He added that Perfect Livin drew an average of 40,000 to 50,000 visitors over four days in Kuching.

“This year we’re targetting the same number of people and our sales target is RM12-15mil. In fact Kuching is one of our favourite venues,” he said.

Civil servant Zulieka Azizan said she never missed coming to a Perfect Livin exhibition with her family.

“We usually look for electrical appliances because the prices here are lower than other places.

“We also shopped for bedroom furniture and our children participated in colouring contests,” she said.

The first 1,000 visitors each day will receive a Perfect Livin aluminium bottle.

Visitors who spend a minimum of RM1,000 can redeem a gift and take part in a lucky draw to win cash vouchers and prizes in the Double Bonanza giveaway.

CCTV cameras and other home security products are available at the exhibition.

By registering their visit, shoppers stand a chance to win a prize each day and be in the running for an Arthur Crowne bathroom set worth RM15,000.

Visitors with children below 12 can also register them to stand a chance of winning a RM38,000 Happy Junior bedroom set.

In addition, there will be a colouring contest for children aged 12 and below tomorrow and Sunday.

Admission to Perfect Livin is free and opening hours are 10am to 9pm. For more information, go to www.perfectlivin.com.
