Owners upset over RM10mil land premium for revived Gombak project

After their very long wait for Astana Square project to be completed, buyers said the handover has now been stalled as they been slapped with a notice to pay RM10mil in land premiums.

PROPERTY buyers of Astana Square in Taman Daya, Selayang, want the Gombak Land Office to speed up and resolve the land title issues for the abandoned project after they were slapped with a RM10mil land premium bill.

The developer was supposed to build and hand over 16 office units and 160 service apartment units in 2003, but the project was abandoned in 2001.
