Sembrong Dam at Ayer Hitam, Kluang
KLUANG: At least two agriculture companies operating around the Sembrong Dam have had action taken against them in the past for environment-related offences.
Agriculture, Agro Based Industries, Entrepreneurship Development and Cooperatives committee chairman Ismail Mohamed said that the action was taken as one company was found to have discharged animal effluents into the drain which flowed into the river.
