HEAVY rain hit Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday evening, turning a stretch of Jalan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah into a pond with the knee-deep water preventing vehicles from connecting to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim.
The flood took place at around 7pm in front of the Kuala Lumpur Courts Complex.
At of the time of writing at 8pm, the floodwater had yet to recede, and motorists continued to report on the water level through the Waze app.
A couple of cars were caught in the muddy water, while others were forced to turn back and detour.
