The sinkhole that could swallow two cars at Persiaran Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya has been filled and resurfaced.
The road, which was closed for over a week, was back in service on Monday at 5pm.
Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Corporate Communications Department senior manager Shahrul Nizam Sulaiman said road resurfacing was completed on Monday and it was monitoring the site to ensure everything was all right.
The sinkhole developed after an underground IWK pipe leaked and softened the soil, causing the road surface to weaken.
Things were aggravated by the heavy rain last week, with the road finally giving way and cratering.
StarMetro first reported the incident last week, and the delay in the repair works made the public furious.
