IN AN effort to preserve and highlight Malaysian art, craft, culture and heritage, Central Market Kuala Lumpur organised a craft celebration to promote the country’s unique traditional and modern creations, especially to young locals and foreign tourists.

On display were batik, embroidery, handwoven items, wau (Malay kites), pottery, songket and wood-carved items.
