IT WAS a brilliant morning, and you could see for miles in Bayan Baru, Penang for a change after the rain and threat of flooding in the last few days, as state leaders visited several flood-prone areas with engineers and showed blueprints of flood mitigation plans to the media.
A network of seven monsoon drains in Bayan Baru have been identified as too narrow and will be widened.
