JOHOR BARU: A Year One pupil from Taman Perling suffered severe bruises on his buttocks after he was allegedly disciplined too harshly by a tuition teacher.

The victim’s sister Lim Poh Shan, 23, a food stall trader, said the family put the seven-year old under the care of the tuition teacher earlier this month.
