JOHOR BARU: The scorching heat did not deter thousands of Bangsa Johor from attending a tea party at Dataran Bandaraya here to celebrate Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar’s 58th birthday.
The large crowd cheered and waved the state flag when Sultan Ibrahim arrived at the venue, which overlooks the Straits of Johor, in style driving a cream coloured Cadillac accompanied by Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah.
