ISKANDAR PUTERI: Mercy Malaysia will be focusing its efforts on training more midwives in war-torn Syria to bring down the number of mother and infant deaths.

Mercy Malaysia president Datuk Dr Ahmad Faizal Mohd Perdaus said that the programme would be among the efforts made by the organisation to improve midwifery services in the area.
