KUCHING: There was no racial or religious discrimination in the vetting of applicants for an education officer’s post advertised by the state Islamic Department.

Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the department was looking for suitable candidates to fill up two positions to supervise Arab language classes and co-curriculum for religious schools under the state government.
