Getting ahead in waste separation

THE Residents Association of Jesselton in Penang, involving some 100 households, has adopted the waste separation at source, some three months before enforcement takes effect on June 1.

A resident, who wished to be known as Michael, 31, said they had even started recycling used glass containers, which were not part of the segregation at source law until recently.
