What residents have to say

Mohd Bakri hopes that MPSJ can solve the problem of illegal advertising in Taman Sri Serdang. — filepic

THE standards MPSJ maintained now are certainly befitting that of a city. In fact, I think that it is better than most cities. Council officers are quick to respond to any complaints, especially via WhatsApp chat groups. MPSJ needs to improve the parking system, making sure that the machines are properly maintained and in working order. More parking lots are required, to solve parking issues, especially haphazard parking in commercial areas. MPSJ should also keep to its 40% greenery target and ensure developers adhere to the master plans submitted.” – Putra Heights resident Adrian Looi

I HOPE the assessment rate will not increase should Subang Jaya get city status. I think they have fulfilled the criteria but does that mean we will have to pay higher assessment taxes? I think MPSJ gets one of the highest amount in assessment revenue because of its population density. And with the revenue generated from taxes, the council should have improved road conditions.” – USJ 5 resident Ong Chong Swen
