Sarawak to push for review of Poison Act

KUCHING: The state government will continue to push for a review of the Poisons Act and Dangerous Drugs Act to ensure stricter control of intoxicating items and drugs that can be misused as stimulants.

Sarawak Assistant Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah cited glue and prescription drugs as well as various other over-the-counter products that needed to be controlled.
