A MUSICAL based on events that happened in the 11th century will be among the programmes held during the four-day St Patrick’s 2017 Festival at Straits Quay in Penang from March 9 to 12.
Penang Irish Association (PIA) president Maggie Territt said the musical titled ‘The Clash of Kings at Clontarf’ tells the story of King Brian Boru confronting the Viking-led Alliance of the Kings of Dublin and Leinster in a battle that changed Ireland’s history.
