JOHOR BARU: Prices of fresh red chillies, tomatoes and long beans have increased due to floods in Johor and Pahang and also because vegetable suppliers are still on leave for the Lunar New Year celebration.

Checks by The Star at Taman Perling and Larkin wet markets showed that tomatoes from Cameron Highlands were sold at RM6 per kilogramme now compared to RM3.50 a week ago.
