IT WAS a happy Chinese New Year for Liaw Seng Kee as his application for aid from the Welfare Department (JKM) was finally approved.
The 54-year-old father of five, from Taman Pandamaran Jaya in Port Klang, had his left leg amputated below the knee after a road accident in June last year and could no longer work as an odd-job worker.
