Sharing CNY joy with KL's homeless

A group photo with the lion dances wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year.

THE homeless were not forgotten this Chinese New Year, as about 250 of them were treated to a feast at the halfway house in the Homeless Transit Centre near Bulatan Pahang on Jan 28.

Event organiser, Institut Onn Ja’afar (IOJ), collaborated with Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur to serve a Chinese festive menu comprising a spread of fried rice, fried noodles, chicken curry, steamed egg and vegetables to the underprivileged community.
