The flood at Jalan Bukit Belacan, Lembah Jaya Utara in Ampang affected 15 homes in the area.
THE recent flooding along Jalan Bukit Belacan in Lembah Jaya Utara, Ampang was because of heavy rain filling a low capacity retention pond at the East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) construction site.
Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) president Abdul Hamid Abdul Hussain said following the incident on Jan 14, the council had instructed project developer EKVE Sdn Bhd to present a report.
