BEING stuck in hospital on the first day of Chinese New Year (CNY) did not put a damper on Lim Gee Lian’s spirits, especially when it was the result of doing a good deed.

Gee Lian , 63, who was warded at the KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital (KPJ APSH) in Ampang Jaya, had fractured the fingers of her left hand during an attempt to break up a fight between her neighbour’s dogs.
