THE police have set up observation posts at popular tourist areas in Ipoh’s old and new town to keep visitors safe during the upcoming festive period.

Perak Crime Prevention and Community Safety chief Senior Asst Comm T. Selven said policemen had been stationed at two locations in Ipoh old town while in Ipoh new town, four observation posts had been set up since Wednesday.
