Society launches 24-hour ambulance service

THE Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) will place its ambulances along with 150 members on a 24-hour standby from tomorrow until Feb 1 to assist in emergencies.

The services are provided in conjunction with Ops Selamat that is being carried out for the festive period, said Datuk B.J. Yeang who is MRCS Penang branch chairman.
