Pact may boost arrivals of Chinese tourists

KUCHING: Sarawak plans to attract more Chinese tourists to the state following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the state government and four China-based tourism companies.

The MoU, which aims to explore areas of cooperation and collaboration for investment in the state’s tourism sector, was signed with Beijing Glory International Culture Development Co Ltd, BTG-Jianguo Hotel Management Co Ltd, China Comfort Travel Group Co Ltd and China Express Airlines Co Ltd.
