Researchers recognised for their work on healthcare solutions


FOUR Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) researchers from the Engineering and Green Technology faculty won the “Best Paper Award” for their commitment in producing solutions to challenges in healthcare and clinical application research.

For their research titled “Iterative Region Based Otsu Thresholding of Bright-field Microscopic Images of Activated Sludge”, the team was recognised at the IEEE EMBS Conference of Biomedical, Engineering and Sciences (IECBES) 2016, which was held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
