Kuching’s famous ‘cat’ gets new outfit

KUCHING: New owners of Lot 10 boutique hotel Kuching marked their presence in the city by sponsoring the new outfit for Kuching’s cat statue in Jalan Padungan.

The cat is dressed in the new red traditional costume in a ceremony withnessed by Local Government Minister Dr Sim Kui Hian, Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk James Chan and representatives from MBKS and the hotel.
