THE number of Malay children in Balik Pulau, Penang, enrolled in Chinese schools has increased over the years and the area’s parliamentary representative has given it his thumbs up.

Balik Pulau MP Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya said many Malay parents had chosen to enrol their children in one of the eight Chinese schools in the area.
