NOT even a downpour could dampen the festive spirit at the 12th BB Charity Carnival 2017 last Saturday evening, as more than 1,500 people crammed into the seats lining the sidewalks of Jalan Bukit Bintang to dine, receive goodie bags and ang pow while enjoying some entertainment.

The annual charity event, which celebrates Chinese New Year with various underprivileged groups, was organised by the Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall (KLCAH) and BB Charity Society, the corporate social responsibility arm of the KK Group.
