DESPITE the increase in prices of mandarin oranges, the demand for the must-have fruit for Chinese New Year is still there.

LST Fresh Fruits Sdn Bhd Sales Executive Merine Cheng said there has been an increase in prices of between 15% and 20% depending on the grade of the fruit.
