MALACCA: Malacca Historic City Council (MBMB) has issued an immediate stop-work order to a sand dredging company for illegally carrying out ship repair works at Klebang beach here.
The site which carries out repairs on vessels known as “ship sandblasting and hotwork’’ in maritime terms is supposed to be located at shipyards and not on the beach close to the mainland and residential areas.
