Residents in Taman Salak Selatan flats are up in arms over the foul stench emanating from a clogged sewerage system, saying the situation arose because there’s no joint management body (JMB) to handle the maintenance of the flats.
The residents said they had to shoulder the responsibility for maintaining the communal septic tanks (CST) after Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) was ordered by the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) to hand over maintenance work to them in 2007.
