Rawang water pipes need to be replaced, says MP

This pipe at Jalan Desa 3/2 in Bandar Country Homes was recently repaired but residents have had to put up with low water pressure.

THE OLD water pipes in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, are in dire need of replacement as some are two decades old, said Selayang MP William Leong.

Leong, a committee member of Air Selangor, the water panel in charge of taking over water management from Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas), said apart from Bandar Country Homes, the water pipes in Rawang town were also in need of attention as they were about 100 years old and had not been replaced.
