PJ's free bin programme kicks off Jan 8

LANDED residential and kampung areas will be given priority in a new wastebin distribution scheme being carried out by Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) from Jan 8 onwards.

The new wastebins, painted a bright orange with the words “Property of MBPJ” stenciled in white with serial numbers, are expected to streamline the council’s waste-collection system, said Petaling Jaya mayor Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain.
