Rooster-inspired decorations popular with market crowds

THERE is already an air of festivity at several markets in Penang although Chinese New Year is still more than three weeks away on Jan 28.

At the Pulau Tikus Market, several visitors were spotted flocking to a stall selling colourful rooster-themed decorations to usher in the Year of the Rooster.
