FISHING 7km from the shore at a depth of over 60m on Dec 26, 2004, Abdul Malik Mohd was unaware of the tsunami waves that killed 230,000 people in several countries.
The waves passed under his skiff harmlessly at a velocity of several hundred kilometres per hour.
